Scrapbook Daisies Blog Hop!

Hi there!

You have reached your last stop in the Scrapbook Daisies FIRST EVER Blog Hop!

Aren't you excited! Once you leave me, you simply go back to the Scrapbook Daisies Blog, leave a comment and tell us your favorite part of the hop. I sure hope you have enjoyed the hop and found inspiration along your way. Also...I hope you remembered to "Gather your Daisies" so that you can email them to me, Misty at mistyw@nctv.com by midnight PST on Sunday. If you didn't...or if my blog is the first blog you have come to, go back to the beginning at the Scrapbook Daisies Blog and start...you will be glad you did!

Here is the kit that I had the pleasure of working with for January

Kit # 1 - Wintertime by Echo Park - $26.95

Now, keep in mind that I live in TEXAS. NOT MUCH SNOW in TEXAS...so this kit presented a bit of a challenge to me. But that is the fun of designing, isn't it??

The challenge...to stretch your mind and think OUTSIDE of the box? So, while I was able to capture a few snowy layouts...they did not actually ALL include SNOW....Take a look.....

**Used the sketch from Artful Delight for this one:

And here are 5 random facts about me...just in case you were wondering...LOL

1. My favorite color is purple...which is why I chose the Michaelmas daisy for my blog

2. When I take kiddos to school in the mornings, I wear my Pajamas...so...IF I ever get pulled over...Lord help that police officer! LOL

3. I was on the "Debra Duncan" show once during a "Make Over" feature. It was a local talk show here in Houston that has since stopped airing

4. I LOVE the smell of coffee...but LOATHE the taste

5. I have been married for longer than my both my Mom AND my Dad. (LOL)

OH...and in addition to the GIVEAWAYS from Scrapbook Daisies, I am doing a little give ~ away of my own! I am doing a little bit of De-cluttering of my scrappy stash...so I will use Random.org to choose ONE LUCKY WINNER from all of the comments left on my blog during this blog hop. That lucky person will get a nice little package of goodies from me!
I will post the winner on Monday the 17th, GOOD LUCK!!

Your next stop will be at the Scrapbook Daisies HOME blog.

There, you will leave your comment telling us what your favorite thing was during the hop, and you will have completed your hop! If you are gathering your daisies, you will still need to email your list of daisies gathered and who's blog you found it on to mistyw@nctv.com by midnight PST on Sunday the 16th putting Scrapbook Daisies Hop in the Subject line.

I sure hope you have enjoyed the Hop!
Thank you for Joining us and Have a Magnificent Weekend!

You really used some creativity to use that snowy paper when you rarely get snow! I especially LOVE the page about your children being snowflakes!!! Great job!!!

Hello fellow Texan! I'm at the other end of the state, North of Dallas. Great pages! I am in awe of you for being a mom of 5 and still ALIVE, lol. I have 2 boys, 8 years apart. Love it this way, and I'm sure you love yours your way, but I'm still in awe. LOVE those pages and thanks for the hop!

Wow!! Love your layouts! Great job. Thanks for the chance to win.

I love that you thought outside of the box on your layouts, Misty! Just because you don't get tons of snow in TX (I'll ship you some from Maine!) it's still fun to use all of the cute products available. How can anyone resist cute snowman stickers and papers? Thanks for an extra chance to win, too. :)
