Reveal Day for SD4U!!!!!

Holy Magnificence, Batman!!!....I LOVED this kit!! At first glance, one would assume that it is a very theme~y kit...which it is. HOWEVER...I got some great layouts from this kit that were not AT ALL theme related! I am VERY proud of my American heritage...and even further...my Texan heritage..which also works FABULOUSLY with this kit...but let's face it...we are not all American...or Texan! The colors and the embellies that Martha paired with this kit work perfectly for so many other topics! Check it out....

Here is "I love You". The glittery star paper made me think first of a sleeping baby and Twinkle Little Star...BUT...we watched Toy Story, ALL OF THEM.... and an idea went off in my head!!! Buzz!!! To Infinity and Beyond!!!! So....this was the result. When my kids tell me that they love me..they say, "I love you, Mom...to infinity and beyond." This will always remind me of that because we all know....that phrase will not live forever...as these munchkins will grow up and stop being so dang adorable!

Here is me...in a loving note to my hubby..."You Make Them Sparkle". Again...all of the glittery stars and embellies made me think all starry eyed...which he DOES make me still...after all these years!

Here is one that is more about "Freedom", and the Freedom that a 3 year old has...especially when running around barefooted and wearing only overalls! This was one of the professionals from my son's 3rd birthday that has resided on my wall for 10 years...he is 13 now, and I finally took it down to update some photos. I just thought these colors worked perfectly with this photo!...and the Tommy Hilfiger flag on the overalls worked in perfectly with this kit!!

And here is "Miss Liberty". It is the one and only layout that I did that is truly 4th of July. This is my daughter when she was 4...it was July 4th of 2006. I have never scrapped this photo, mostly because I am lazy...LOL ...but also because I never had just the perfect embellies and inspiration...until now, with this kit!

Thanks for taking time to look! Due to a rather large hurricane in the Gulf...the opportunity for photos has been non-existent. I actually BEAT the rain with these photos this morning, but as SOON as I was done, the rain came and everything was black again! LOL Thank goodness for sleeping kids, a good camera, and Photoshop! LOL
