Blog Hoppin' {SAS}sy Style!

If my blog is the first place you have visited…welcome! To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the blogs in the {SAS}sy Blog Hop I suggest you start at the beginning by visiting at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking at THIS LINK and then work your way around the rest of the blogs.

I thought I would share one of my ideas for using the Pink Paisley Artisan Tape. While it is cute and cool...some of us have no clue what to do with it...other than stick it to our pages like...well....Tape!
Below, I have a little photo tutorial on "Getting Loopy" with the paper tape. I have created a flower...but you can also make borders, pull tabs, or just about anything using these loops.

Here are the supplies that I used. The Tape of course, to make the loops (shown below), Glitter, paint brush, and a craft knife.

Here, I have rolled out the tape and I am applying the glitter to the area that will create the loop. The glitter keeps the tape from sticking to itself. Some people use baby powder or corn starch also. I prefer the glitter because I have SOOOO Much of it, and it is within arms reach and I do not have to go GET it from another location in my home! >>Not to mention, I have DEVOTED myself to using up my old stash!! LOL

Once I have applied the glitter to the Loopy area, I folded the tape over to stick to itself in the unglittered area...to form the loop. I did this seven more times to create the loops for my flower.

Once all of my loops were created, I then used dry adhesive to apply them to a 2 inch cardboard circle. I happened to utilize the tag that came on the tape, but you can cut one out of anything. Form your circle of loops for the base of your flower.

I did the same thing with pieces of ribbon to add the next layer of my flower. I used Glossy Accents wet adhesive for this part, though, because the ribbon will not stick well to dry adhesive.

For the final touch, I fussy cut a flower from the Crate Paper, Paper Doll collection for the center. You can use anything...I just loved the effect this particular flower had.

Here is a side view of the flower.

I hope I have given you a new idea and a fresh perspective regarding the Pink Paisley Artisan tape! Head on over to Scrap Attack Scrapbooking and pick up a few rolls and "Get Loopy"!!

And since I could not share my entire layout with you that I used my flower on since it is for DT, I decided to share this one. It featured the Bo Bunny Peacock Lane collection. All of the products used in this layout can be purchased at the Scrap Attack Online Store.

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking will be donating prizes from all comments left on all participating blogs so make sure and comment so you are eligible to win! As a {BONUS} there is a hidden word on each blog that can be pieced together to make a familiar {SAS}sy phrase. If you can unscramble the highlighted words to make this phrase you could win a $50 gift certificate to the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking store.. For more details on the prizes, please see the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking blog.
