Saying Goodbye...

Is never easy to do on the last day of school.  It was even more difficult today, because next year, my kiddos will not return to the elementary school that they (we) love.  Our district has been rezoned and we will attend a different elementary school in our district.  I am not a Happy Momma right now.

This week has been crazy for me...with five kids, you can imagine the many hours of awards ceremonies, field trips, and final exam preparations that we have spent in the Willis household.  Amongst all of that...I have barely managed to keep the tears from flowing...but today...they have not stopped.  It was our final farewell to the greatest group of educators that a person with 5 kids can be blessed with.  Needless to say, my week has been emotional...and I am SOOOOO not an emotional crybaby! LOL

Well, just when I needed it, I got a wonderful e-mail from a wonderful person brightening my day.  Amber Packer from My Minds Eye invited me to be the guest for June...and I have to say...it truly made me smile when I thought all I could muster were tears.  Thank you so much, Amber!  I really meant it when I said you made my day!

Please visit the My Mind's Eye Blog and check out some of my favorite MME projects.  DON'T FORGET to leave a comment, because some lucky person will win a super duper fabulous prize pack!  And let me tell you...My Minds Eye Prizes are THE BOMB!!!!

Hi Misty, You're work is so beautiful! i've been in a creative slump for sometime now, but while going through your l/o's just now, I definitely felt a spark go off... So thanks! Also I live in India, and it's VERY difficult to get my hands on scrapbooking product. As MME is my absolute favorite line, I tend to hoard my MME stash like a squirrel waiting for winter, winter being the MME challenge!! But again, you made me think, what the hell, go for it!! So thank you again...
