OMGoodness! I fell in love from the moment that Heather posted the little sneaks of what to expect in the upcoming kits on the Simply Obsessed Message Board! My mouth began to water the moment I opened my box that contained my kit, and I got all giddy as I began cutting paper. Everything about this July kit is amazing! The colors, the embellies, the papers...absolutely everything perfectly compliments one another, and gets those creative juices flowing. So far, here is what I was able to create...

First up is my "Hello Sunshine" card. I used the big ol' rub~on to create the front flap of my Sun shaped card. I did use my own ribbon to tie it together.

Next up is "Laugh" featuring the Lily Bee "Hello Sunshine" collection. These photos are of my daughter...in sequence as we took this photo shoot....First grinning, then singing, then laughing hysterically at herself! I just adore these photos and did not want to just split them up into individual layout...as they show the true beauty of her nature...always smiling and happy!*I did use my own polka dot ribbon.*

Last is "Content" featuring the My Mind's Eye "So Sophie" line This is my daughter in my Mom's arms at the park about 2 years ago. Skye did not want to play, did not want to slide, did not any anyone else to hold her...only Memaw. As I look at this photo, though, I kinda have to ask myself...Who looks more content? Skye or Memaw??? Hmmmm...that is a good question! LOL

Thank you for taking time to look at my reveal! It was sooooooo much fun to work with this YUMMY kit!!!

My Dream?

I was asked the question..."Are you living your Dream?" .........simply put...Yes I am.

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a "Mommy". Once I had my first child when I was 20, I decided very early on that I would do everything that I could to be a "presence" in the lives of my children. I want them to remember their child hood with smiles on their faces and fond memories in their hearts. When I am old, I want them to say to me

"I LOVE you, Mom" ............Not........... "I love you Because you are my Mom."

Their really is a difference.

I want my kids to be proud of what I have done in my lifetime, I want them to be proud to introduce their friends to me, and most of all, I want them to be proud to call Me Mom. Lord knows, I am proud to be their Mom. So...Yes...I am living my dream.

Here is the layout that I did...."My Dream?"

I chose to write a poem rather than journal...so here it is...

Butterfly kisses with a flower in hand.
My kids in the water, my toes in the sand.
Secrets passed...whispered in the ear.
They grow and they change from year to year.
Laughter and love in this family of mine.
Hugs and kisses flowing like wine.
It could have been different, but I would have missed this dance.
Would I change a thing?...No...Not a chance.

Thanks for taking a look! Have a Fantabulous Day!!

Happy Birthday Mom.

Today is my Mother's Birthday....while she was born in 1952, she is only 21...she is and will stay....FOREVER YOUNG. LOL....no, she did not pass away....she has maintained for ALL OF MY LIFE that she is 21. After several years, she added..the anniversary of...meaning...TODAY is the 37th anniversary of her 21st Birthday. It is crazy how the Anniversaries outnumber the Actual Birthdays!!!! I love her though...she can stay 21. She can be younger than me, because she is Mom..and can do whatever she pleases.

Here she is walking in my front door a few hours ago. When she drove up, all of the kids hid in my entry way closet...and jumped out singing Happy Birthday when she walked in. She was looking down at Skye holding her present when I snapped this shot. That is her handy dandy Sonic diet coke in her arms by the way! LOL

Happy Birthda, Mom!!! I love you!!!
