Well, I e-mailed several of my scrappy friends and told you all to come check out my blog...and I am LATE posting! I am so sorry! But here are the new layouts as promised...but first...just wanted to share where I have been today.
As you all know, I have FIVE~~yes FIVE kids starting school this year...which means supplies, shoes, and clothesx5! I got a call from Trudy to come check out some jeans that her neighbor had in a yard sale...they were in great condition. So..I went, and to make a long story short, I got 3 pair for Chance, and 4 pair for Dayne...in almost BRAND NEW condition! Seven pair for $20... I just saw my back to school list lighten! THANK YOU DEBORAH!!!
Now...on to scrappy goodness! I hope that by seeing my creations, I can inspire some of you to start scrapping again!

A great day in Paradise!
Hi there! Today was a WONDERFUL day that I spent "drowning" my kids in Lake Houston. (lol) We went with our friends out there and rode jet skis, went tubing, rode in the boat and had a great time! Donna took some fabulous pictures! My camera is not waterproof, and I did not buy one to take, so I am relying on her to share her photos!!
When we got home, the kids were all pooped, so they bathed and went to bed. I decided to get a little scrappy. I did this for a contest on the GCD studios blog... "Bold and Simple". I used the Cosette colection for this...it is a black and white collection, with BOLD solids on the flipside! This is a great stretch for me, but I am pleased with how this came out!
All I did was use a razor knife and cut an asterisk in the center of my paper, fold each flap back and tack it in place with a brad. I then layered that zebra paper onto the yellow paper and the photo of my little boys with the binoculars on top of that. I used paper to cut the arrows, and the title was done with thickers. I thought the "WILD" look of the zebra paper was perfect for this photo! My boys kept telling me that they were going on a safari...I needed to pack their lunch!

Aubrie's Birthday!!
Today, Aubrie turned 9!! My little girl is growing up so fast! It won't be long and she will be in the double digits! We spent the weekend "partying it up" at a hotel in Humble. I rented a room and invited a few of her friends and we did a "Diva style Sleep~Over" I will be posting layouts from that soon! Tonight, we are taking her out to eat for her birthday dinner, since Daddy and her brothers did not get to spend any time with her at her party.
I did get a little bit scrappy when we got back Sunday afternoon. I did a layout of Tamon when he was a little man...only 10 months old in his first Halloween costume. It was actually Alyssa's, and we borrowed it. He looked adora{bull}! I did this with supplies from www.ScrapAttackScrapbooking.com .

Made it through the weekend!
Well, The weekend of the 4th was great. I did a wedding cake , delivered at 5pm and had the rest of the weekend to spend with my family. The kids had a blast watching and popping the firecrackers, the men had fun goofin' off and playing horseshoes, and all of us women had fun sitting back and giggling at the men, laughing at the kids, and taking pictures of it all! I got some "juicy" pics of Dayne and my nephew eating watermelon! I can't wait to get those scrapped!!
I haven't gotten the opportunity to download yet, but I will post the pics soon.
Until then...here is a page of Skye that I did with product from Lauri at http://www.scrapattackscrapbooking.com/ .

I got some of the brand new Prima, Nikki Sivils, and a couple of other yummy goddies from her including Webster's pages. She carries all of the cool things in her store...I just had to order and get my "scrap on" LOL. I had a lot of fun playing with the new CHA product!

The HANGOVER
...was so funny! Joe and I went to see it last night since we were "kidless"...and We couldn't stop laughing! It is a definate "GO SEE" kind of movie! Everyone in the theater was rolling in the aisles. I don't know what made me laugh harder though... the movie, or the 2 little ole' ladies sitting beside me giggling and snorting!
Well, I been getting scrap happy and got a lot of pages done in June! My goal is 20 per month for the year of 2009, but I passsed my goal for June by 8! With the Scraptathlon, the random challenges and the submission for the http://www.scrapattackscrabooking.com/ DT call, I got more than I bargained for! Here is a sampling of what I did...

SILLY DOG
Ok..so I had a little trouble remembering how to log into this thing! LOL!!
I am going to recount my week in condenced form ...
I am going to recount my week in condenced form ...
After hoppin' along with the {SAS}sy blog hop, I joined the site and decided to submit my entry for the DT call. I am waiting now...very {in}patiently for the reveal...I have never submitted my work for critique before, so we will see! I just want to wish everyone who submitted GOOD LUCK!
Other then the DT call, I had a few funny moments with kids and dogs! Tuesday, upon our entering the suburban to go pick up Chance at GT Art camp, Tamon left the passenger door open to get something he forgot...My 120 pound English mastiff {who thinks he is a chiuahua} (sp?) decided to climb in and straight over to my lap! ALL FOURS were in my lap and I could not move! Silly dog! Of course, underneath all that weight, my brain is not thinking "GET THE CAMERA"...but it is certainly something I will not forget for a long time!
